Polarising Filter
Taken without a circular polarising filter
today's sky looked bleached and without interest.
This has been a great investment.
I got to buy a new lens cleaning cloth AFTER
the session spent cloud watching.
Be Prepared is an old motto worth repeating.

Yep - love the CPL, myself, particularly for cutting out glare from windows (taking pictures in museums).
Do you have a plain old UV filter on there, too? Just to keep the lens safe? Costs £5 or so and will save your lens from scratches, etc.
I took the UV filter off, temporarily, as too much glass can be a nuisance.
I've also been using a yellow filter, bought for use with BW film.
It causes some interesting effects when the digital SLR is set to monochrome in the in-camera settings.
